Newsletter 2023
Greetings Members !
Thanks to all the members who dropped by Fright Night Both on Main Street, 21 October!
Marj's brilliant idea for a Dr. Suess themed booth was received very positively by toddlers , teens and Moms and Dads alike. We had over 400 children stop by the booth! It was wonderful to work with our partner agencies to provide a safe place for kids of all ages to celebrate, dress up , and get some tasty treats.
Fur Trade Christmas , Saturday 09 December, 2023 from 10:00am - 3pm
The Historic Site will host lots of fun activites

The fun doesn't stop there... bring the family and enjoy a sleigh ride, cookie decorating, a trip to a Caban a Sucre amongst other traditional Christmas actives from the Fur Trade era!
Wrap up a fun family oriented day by giving the kiddies a chance to meet Fur Trade Santa !!
Your executive have been very busy over the last few months and have decided to focus on Fur Trade Christmas for December.
Our next meeting will be in January, 2024 were we will continue to work on our website, some projects for the play fort, and discussions on rejuvenating the Trading Post, and possibly adding a couple of new events/programs for the 2024 season.
We continue to work closely with Parks Canada and are enjoying a great working relationship with Melissa and the rest of the staff at the Site. We are expecting great things being accomplished for 2024 !!
Look for our next newsletter in early February, I look forward to updating you after the January meeting.
Merry Christmas to all / Joyeux Noel a tous!
